One of the best ways to improve your English is by practising it! That is why electives, interspersed with workshops, are held every two weeks.
Our elective classes entail student-nominated interests such as ‘English songs’, ‘International film studies’, ‘Aussie lingo’, ‘World music and the Arts’, ‘Roleplay for the real world’ and ‘English conversation’.
Students can nominate a particular topic and this elective will start if there is enough interest.
ASTLEY ENGLISH COLLEGE offers a range of elective classes.
Workshops, such as ‘Financial Responsibility, ‘HIV-aids prevention’ and ‘Student well-being’, are held by NSW Health, Wesley Mission and our pathways partners every few months to suit the students’ needs at the time.
